This is the very first release where 4Weed Records immerses in modern rubadub, a sound that have always interested and attracted us until we dedicate it the ‘Rubadub Special‘ series. ‘Melody’ riddim, has been created out of an idea of Petah Sunday and Lion Warriah and rifinished by the producer Bassliner. With this production we tried to promote some of the most interesting young voices of Italian and European reggae – rubadub scene, backed up by an actual icon of the genre as Tippa Irie (UK). The idea to produce a riddim compilation, in the original Jamaican style, was born after the official release of ‘Nuff Melody‘ where the three artists Petah Sunday, Bassliner and Lion Warriah worked together to create a unique and modern style based on a killer bass melody combined with digital sounds and analog recordings. The tune has been released with an official video and has been played and promoted by the best European selectas.
It will be available in digital download with 8 tracks + riddim and on vinyl 12″ with 3 tracks + riddim.
